| OVERSIGHT |
St Luke's is led by a Parish Council (Vestry) who work alongside the Vicar. Members are elected annually at the Annual General Meeting of the church community. The Council meets monthly and, with the Vicar and two Churchwardens, has responsibility for the spiritual and pastoral leadership of St Luke's and oversight of our finances and property. |
Currently, a number of groups work to promote the day to day life of the community. We encourage everyone to get involved.
Working on issues of justice and the care of creation at St Luke's and in the wider community
Creating opportunities to become a more welcoming place, and making St Luke's more visible and accessible to the wider community
Managing and increasing our income, looking at expenditure, and exploring new ways of developing our resources
Ensuring that our facilities serve our community and other users well, attending to ongoing maintenance requirements, and making sure that the grounds and gardens are well tended
A network of people are involved in ministries to and with the children and young people of St Luke's, and meet together occasionally to review resources and discuss issues.

Representatives of the Parish Council and the Guides meet twice a year for the maintenance and improvement of this facility.
