WELCOME TO SAINT LUKE'S

Saint Luke's has stood here since 1872, a focus for ministry and worship in the Anglican tradition. Over many years, the emphasis of our life together has been to welcome and value people of diverse ages, beliefs, backgrounds, and interests. Much of our energy goes into supporting those on the margins of society and exploring what it means to be a community of faith in an inner-city suburb. We encourage people to acknowledge that there are many different "Christian truths" and that everyone's relationship with God is evolving, and as such is to be respected and nurtured. We try to be a safe place where people can take risks and be honest about what is important to them. We admit we don't manage it all the time, so we try again.

Please feel free to explore this site and contact us should you have any questions. We invite you to return to it from time to time to keep up to date with what is happening in the life of our parish. Please also feel free to call in and see us during the week if you need help or support, or to worship with us on Sundays if you're in the area.

THE OPPORTUNITY SHOP

The St Luke's Opportunity Shop is a great place for bargains. It is open on Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00am to 1:00pm. It is located under the parish office at the rear of the hall.

HALL FOR HIRE

The church hall is a great place to have a get-together, and the wooden, sprung floor makes it well suited for dancing. The hall can be hired for a modest fee. See Bookings for further details and contact the Parish Administrator to check its availability.
