ST LUKE'S CHURCH HALL REFURBISHMENT

2008: Much discussion has surrounded the need to see the Parish Hall and offices into the 21st century and secure their continued use for future generations. Parish Council has sought the advice of Auckland architect Lillian Chrystall, BArch, FNZIA in refurbishing the buildings and better suiting the facilities and arrangement of space to our needs. It is envisaged that the project will take up to three years to complete, but preliminary architectural drawings have been completed and surveying is underway. The refurbishment will ensure that the hall is future-proofed and continues to be used over the coming decades. It also allows for the relocation of offices, and the completion of the courtyard as the hub to the parish centre, by way of a cloister linking all buildings.
